Endorsement from Treasure Ford - A Resident of Bedford
"Bedford friends. We have an election coming up in just a few weeks and I wanted to share with you why I will be supporting Cindy Almendarez for City Council Place 1.
The first thing that drew me to Cindy For Bedford was her Community Means Unity slogan. I think that unity is so important right now, especially when we are talking about city politics. City Council should be a place where we can bring our concerns and be heard by someone who truly cares, regardless of our political affiliations. Cindy cares. She loves this city, and she wants the best for our neighbors. Every time I have spoken with Cindy she has expressed why she is running. She is doing it for us, for you, and for our neighbors. I know she will do a great job on the City Council if elected. Check out her Facebook page for more information and reach out to her if you have questions or concerns. She really wants to hear from you."
Endorsement from Bryan Ford - A Resident of Bedford
"Community means unity really spoke to me too. Bedford is such a special place to Treasure and I, it’s our home, we love our neighbors and help each other out whenever we can! Please check out her site Cindy For Bedford and consider voting for her too!"
Cindy is running for Bedford City Council Place 1.
Cindy wants to work for positive change and community unity and represent you on the Bedford City Council. As a mother with school age children I’m passionate about preserving our city for my children and your children.
Cindy believes that Bedford is poised for positive change and new economic opportunities that will require better planning and fiscal responsibility in the next few years if we are to eliminate waste and ease the burden of property taxes.
Bedford needs someone on Council who puts residents first, fights for transparency and promotes stronger communication with the public. As a local small business owner Cindy believes in supporting community unity so that Bedford can continue to be a quality place to live, work and raise a family.
Having previously worked in Government positions at the City and Federal level Cindy has a working knowledge and understanding of how issues can be approached and worked on to insure a positive outcome.
Cindy's main priorities will be to work on better ways to communicate with the residents to let them know what is happening in their city, economic development, promoting more budget efficiency with more long-term planning, improving our streets and other infrastructure and supporting our Police and Fire personnel to insure that we maintain quality public safety to our citizens.
Vote for Cindy on May 1, 2021. I look forward to serving as your City Councilwoman for Place 1.
